ABOUT US
If you're thinking of visiting us for the first time we would love you to join us.
We know it can be difficult coming along to a new church without knowing what to expect, so we have put together some 'Frequently Asked Questions' below to try and help you.
We hope to see you some Sunday!
WHAT TIME IS THE SERVICE?
Our morning worship on a Sunday is at 11:30am and Children's Church runs during this time. Details of all our services can be found here.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE SERVICE?
Our service is pretty traditional with a mix of hymns, a Bible reading, prayers and a sermon. We also have a short children's address before they leave for Children's Church.
WHAT IS
COMMUNION?
We celebrate communion twice a year. Communion reminds us of the Last Supper before Jesus died for us on the cross. During Communion we take bread and wine as symbols of Jesus body and blood that was shed for our sin.
I'D LIKE TO BECOME A MEMBER
It's great you would like to become a member of our Church. Please contact Rev Nick Cooper for information on how you can do this.
WHAT SHOULD
I WEAR?
We want you to feel relaxed during your visit so wear what you feel comfortable in. Most people dress smart casual but don't worry we want you to come as you are and enjoy worship with us.
WHAT ABOUT
MY CHILDREN?
We have a Creche that runs during the entire service for babies and young children. Children's Church for those in P1 - P7 runs during the service with children leaving after the Children's Address.
IS IT ONLY
A SUNDAY?
No, we have a wide range of activities running during the week.
Information on all our organisations can be found here.
I STILL HAVE QUESTIONS
If you still have questions then please contact the Church Office 028 97521096 and someone will be able to help you.
We may even be able to add it here to help others.
WHAT CAN
I EXPECT?
You can expect a warm welcome and a smile. Our service is relaxed and includes everything you would expect, children leave for Children's Church after the short children's address.
WHAT'S THE MUSIC LIKE?
Our music is a mix of hymns played on the organ or piano. At certain times during the year and at some services we have a small praise group.
WHO LEADS THE SERVICE?
Our service is led by our minister, Rev Nick Cooper. At various times during the year other members or our Ministry Team will lead aspects of the service.
